Thavysub Energy, an associated company of RenewableX, has been awarded the EPC contract by SMP and VS for a 9 MWp (7.5 MWac) solar PV farm in Borikhamxay province, Laos. This marks our first solar PV project with SMP and our third with VS.

SMP is a leading renewable energy, finance and automotive group headquartered in Vientiane, Laos. It is an honour and an important milestone to be recognised by SMP, which is one of the shareholders for the 600 MW Monsoon Wind Power project in southern Laos. Jointly developed with Japanese and Thai partners, the wind farm is currently the largest in ASEAN, and the first cross-border wind energy development in the region for export of generated electricity to Vietnam under a 25-year PPA.
